Samanata

Samanata , meaning equality, is the advocacy and policy initiative of Satarangisaathi Foundation, committed to advancing constitutional rights, social justice, and non-discrimination, particularly for LGBTQIA+ and other marginalized communities.
Grounded in the principles of the Constitution of India, Samanata works to uphold fundamental rights, including the right to equality (Article 14), prohibition of discrimination (Article 15), and the right to life and dignity (Article 21). The initiative seeks to ensure that these rights are meaningfully realized through legal awareness, policy engagement, and community-led advocacy.
